What if my child will miss a week of camp?
Camper Absence Policy
For 2021 our Camper Absence Policy is limited to campers attending Jewish overnight camp that overlaps with the last week of Main Session. For campers who will be leaving Camp Rodef Shalom before the last day to attend Jewish overnight camp, we can offer a discount of $100 off your camp fees.
If your camper will need prescription medication during camp, please bring the medication in its original packaging along with your Medication Authorization (signed by your child's doctor) to give to our clinic aide. If you have an Allergy Action Plan, please submit that as well. All authorizations and medications must be current and not expired.
Camp Rodef Shalom has a strict no-nit lice policy. We conduct individual lice checks on all campers and counselors on the first day of camp. If nits (eggs) or lice are found, pickup is required. Treatment must be completed before returning to camp; a Re-check by the camp clinic aide is necessary before resuming camp activities.
